Dr Ruchita Manaktala Bhatia

Dr. Ruchita Manaktala Bhatia is a Consultant at Manaktala Eye & Maternity Home, Meerut, UP, India. 

She obtained her MBBS and DOMS degrees from the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (KLE University), Belagavi, Karnataka, India. She then pursued her secondary DNB Degree from Icare Eye Hospital & Post-Graduate Institute, Noida, UP, India. 

She has also done a long term fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology where she gained a detailed experience in all sub-specialties of the eye. 

She is an excellent cataract (Phaco/SICS) surgeon showing a compassionate and caring attitude towards all her patients. 

She has also received special training in the medical and surgical management of pediatric disorders, adult & child strabismus, child cataracts (congenital/developmental, complicated, traumatic), orthoptics, low vision rehabilitation, amblyopia therapy (Long Term Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus & Neuro-ophthalmology). 

She has also completed the International Council of Ophthalmology Exams and was awarded the FICO degree by ICO, Geneva, Switzerland. 

She is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), Meerut Ophthalmological Society, UP Ophthalmological Society.
